Men's Ministry
The Power House Men’s Ministry provides men an opportunity to gather at planned events especially designed for them. These events are high-interest activities to which friends can bring their friends. So they are intended for evangelism as well as fellowship. Proverbs 27:17 says, “As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.” So the Men’s Ministry encourages short term and long term relationships that build toward discipleship and ministry involvement. What we want to do is to create disciples of Christ who will be equipped to live like Christ, in the power of the Holy Spirit. Be watching for the launch of the Men's ministry.
Ladies'
Bible Study
The PHC Ladies Bible Study is open to ladies of all walks of life and all ages. The Bible study is designed to encourage women to become all that God created them to be. When women come together to pray, study the Word, and encourage one another, wonderful friendships are formed and lives are changed forever. The study usually centers on a theme that is important to women who desire to become strong, spiritually enlightened disciples of Christ. Meeting times are announced in advance and usually run in six-week sessions. Be watching for the re-launch of the Ladies Bible Study.
Jesus said to His disciples, “Suffer [allow] the children to come unto me and do not hold them back.” There is a large place in the heart of God for children. We believe that it is important to teach children at a level where they can receive the truth of Jesus. The goal is to help them establish early in life a love for Jesus so that they are able to receive Him in their hearts at an early age. Statistics show that children who receive Christ earlier are more likely to remain in relationship as adults. At PowerHouse Church we love children and value teaching them in a safe, nurturing environment.
Power House is a church where numerous lives will be changed on a weekly basis. A vital force in achieving that goal will be our helps ministry or Power Teams. Whether it is delivering food to a hurting family, teaching our youth, ministering to babies and children, operating sound equipment or anything in between, our Power Teams are connectors to the current of the power of Jesus Christ. What a joy it is to know that you are providing services that eternally impact the lives of others. Your involvement is welcomed. So go ahead. Jump in.
